Andy Cartman
Joint Managing Director
Andy is joint Managing Director of H2ecommerce and joined the company in 2011. When asked the
question, 'What do you enjoy most about the business?', he says his colleagues and the
opportunities for continued growth. Andy's 5 minutes of fame came when he sang on stage with the
late Edwin Starr!
John Flanagan
Joint Managing Director
John is joint Managing Director and joined the business in 2009. He says being surrounded by a
highly skilled and committed team, with a shared passion for delighting the customer, is a key
ingredient to the continued success of the business. Outside of work, John enjoys traveling with
family, playing tennis and hiking up mountains.
Max Freeman
Commercial Director
Max joined the business in 2008 as a customer service operative. Since then he has been involved in
many different business projects, ultimately finding his home as part of the commercial department.
Max says he "feels very lucky to work with an outstanding group of people who inspire him every
day".
Alison Sparks
Financial Controller
Alison is the Financial Controller for the UK group of companies. She has worked at H2eCommerce
since February 2009, having previously worked at accountancy practices. On starting at H2e, her old
boss told her that she would be bored within six months, 14 years later and not once has she been
bored! Challenged, excited, tired and proud but never bored!
Tony Green
Sales Manager
Tony has been heading up the sales team since 2021 and enjoys watching his team go from strength to strength. His team's ethos is helping each other to succeed. He says Cartridge People are always endeavouring to deliver the best customer service and striving to always be the number 1 online retailer for ink and toner.
Nikki Hale
Customer Services Manager
Nikki joined the business in 2005. So what's the enduring appeal?
The people and my team – we all really care about each other and the business we work for, and the business looks after us.
Nikki says 'Customer service isn't a job, it's a frame of mind. We ensure we treat every customer the
best way we can, kindness and understanding is the root of a positive customer experience. Happy
team, happy customers.'
Kevin Over
Multi-Site E-Fulfilment Manager
Kevin started with H2e in 2012 and manages H2e warehouses based in Crewe and Winsford. He has
worked in warehousing and logistics for the past 40 years both in the UK and abroad.
He says that it is a great pleasure working for a dynamic, forward-thinking business that values its
employees and is always striving to provide a positive customer experience.
Kay Dodds
Marketing Manager
Kay leads our marketing team with a focus on driving brand awareness of Cartridge People and its
Own Brand ink and toner cartridges. Her drive and enthusiasm for marketing and brands comes from
her experience of working in many different consumer led organisations and seeing the impact
market orientated strategies can have on the growth and development of a business.
Julie Gimblett
HR Manager
Julie is the HR Manager for the business and its brands. Julie joined the team in January 2019, after
having worked for 35 years in HR Management across most sectors and industries.
Julie believes that an organisation's people is its greatest asset, where everyone is an individual, not a number. A culture where employees have a voice, feel valued, supported and can flourish. She
feels very proud to be part of such a progressive and caring company.
Jenny Oakes
Commercial Range Manager
Jen has worked at H2eCommerce since 2009 and heads up the commercial team. She says the
company culture is what she enjoys most. In her spare time, Jen enjoys being outdoors, exploring
new places and spending time with her family.
David Black
Warehouse Operations Manager
David joined the business in 2017 managing a team of 5. He is now managing a team of 20,
demonstrating the growth of the brand. He enjoys the daily challenge of ensuring all customer
orders are shipped on the same day. Away from work, David enjoys the arts and history.
Robert Lee
Warehouse Manager
Robert joined the company in 2020. What he likes most about the company is the togetherness, one
team, family culture. A good working environment was important to him after 22 years in the
Armed Forces, where hard work, commitment and teamwork played such important roles. In his
spare time, he enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his fiancée and children.
Nina Cruxton
Recycling Co-ordinator for Empties
Nina started in customer services in 2008 and now heads up the Empties Please business,
running the school, business and charity recycling schemes and putting to good use spent
cartridges. Passionate about recycling and fundraising, Nina is keen to get her recyclers
keeping as many of their used printer cartridges out of landfill as possible! In her spare time,
Nina likesenjoys many crafty hobbies such as macrame, sewing and upcycling old bits of furniture!
